News for the Dubs

This is just a little public service announcement for any stray Spudlets that find their way over to this space.

1) Tomorrow, at 2:25 on RTE One, 'our very own Moi' (as Admin phrased it) will be The Big Bite. If you get the chance, be sure to watch. And then post her your congrats for what I am sure will be a job (very) well done.

2) Are you going to the 'Know Your Rights' seminars at OutHouse? Why not? They have been fantastic thus far. Senator David Norris was a wonderful speaker, and it has been an amazing opportunity to hear from people involved specifically in drafting the Civil Partnership Bill. Beyond that, there has been an introduction to the Equality Legislation, and an overview of property rights of co-habitating couples. Coming up next week there will be a representative from GLUE speaking (especially relevant for the situation Col and I find ourselves in - a citizen and a non-EU member).
